During your tattoo
It is very important to keep your fresh tattoo clean. We can’t recall the numerous times clients will unconsciously lean open skin on walls or touch their work. The best way to prevent cross contamination and to have a great heal is to prevent anything besides healing ointment touching your work.
Let your artist know if and when you need a break. When leaving the shop or using the restroom, please allow your artist to cover your work in order to prevent contamination.
Sitting as still as possible is another important aspect of tattooing. This will allow the artist to pull the cleanest lines they can.
